MATTOON — Mount Zion won the Mattoon High School Girls Track Invitational Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The Braves scored 127 points followed by Robinson 82, Newton 69.5, Effingham 61, Teutopolis 50, Richland County, Olney 43.5, Salem 31, Centralia 28.5, Mattoon 28, Charleston 21.5 and Taylorville 16.<\/p>\n

Effingham, Teutopolis and Newton had first, second and third place finishers in the meet.<\/p>\n

The Hearts’ Camdyn Burgholzer was a winner in the high jump with a leap of 1.60 meters. Macy Kirk finished second in the 400 with a time of 1:01.20 minutes.<\/p>\n

Keagyn Koenig took second in the shot with a throw of 10.88 meters. Kylie Pryor was second in the pole vault at 3.05 meters.<\/p>\n

The Hearts’ 4×400 relay team of Kirk, Emery Spicer, Alyna Wade and Baylee Summers finished second in 4:15.49 minutes.<\/p>\n

Summers finished third in the 800 in 2:25.73 minutes.<\/p>\n

T-town’s Isabella Niebrugge won the 300 hurdles in 45.50 seconds and was second in the 100 with a time of 12.71 seconds. Bella Ordner captured second in the 100 hurdles with a time of 16.16.<\/p>\n

The Wooden Shoes 4×100 relay team of Emma Isley, Ordner, Adrienne Koester and Niebrugge finished in second in 50.78 seconds. Isley was third in the 200 in 26.81 seconds.<\/p>\n

Newton’s Layna Marshall finished second in the 1600 with a time of 5:33.96 minutes and was second in the 3200 in 12:12.16. Stella Schackmann was second in the 200 in 26.60 seconds.<\/p>\n

Schackmann also finished third in the 100 with a time of 12.83 seconds and was third in the long jump at 5.00 meters. Lena Fehrenbacher was a third place finisher in the triple jump at 9.55 meters.<\/p>\n

The Eagles’ 4×800 relay team of Marshall, Avery Geier, Brooke Gentry and Heather Bergbower claimed second in 10:40.10 minutes.<\/p>\n
