Effingham High School claimed the boys meet while Newton was a winner in the girls track meet Tuesday held at EHS.<\/p>\n

Effingham won the boys meet with 158.67 points followed by Teutopolis 75 and Effingham St. Anthony 70.33.<\/p>\n

Alex Gordon was a winner in three events for EHS. Gordon captured the 400 in 55.98 seconds and the 800 in 2:03.55 minutes. He also won the triple jump with a leap of 11.27 meters.<\/p>\n

Sebastian Simoni claimed two victories for the Hearts. Simoni won the 100 in 11.61 seconds and the 200 in 24.15.<\/p>\n

The Hearts won the 4×100 relay in 45.88 seconds and the 4×200 relay in 1:36.08 minutes.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony was a winner in the 4×400 relay in 3:53.36 minutes and the 4×800 relay in 8:43.35.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, Newton was a winner with 105 points followed by Effingham 75, Teutopolis 72.25, Richland County, Olney 63.5 and Effingham St. Anthony 54.25.<\/p>\n

Newton’s Stella Schackmann won the 100 in 12.69 seconds and the 200 in 27.51.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony’s Aubrey Denning was a winner in the 800 in 2:23.38 mintues and the 1600 in 5:38.59.<\/p>\n

Teutopolis won the 4×100 relay in 50.75 seconds and the 4×200 relay in 1:49.56 minutes.<\/p>\n
