MOUNT ZION — Several area athletes competed in the Blazen Braves Boys and Girls Track Invitational Saturday hosted by Mount Zion High School.<\/p>\n

Effingham St. Anthony’s Reese Hoene won the 60 meter run with a time of 7.85 seconds. Hoene took second in the 400 in 58.94 seconds. She finished third in the 200 in 27.05 seconds.<\/p>\n

Hoene was a winner in the long jump at 5.42 meters. T-town’s Bella Ordner finished third in 5.23.<\/p>\n

The Bulldogs’ Aubrey Denning won the 800 in 2:24.22 minutes. Denning also won the 1600 with a time of 5:18.75.<\/p>\n

T-town’s Bella Ordner was fourth in the 60m hurdles in 10.00. Adrienne Koester finished fifth in the 800 in 2:32.61.<\/p>\n

Effingham’s Keagyn Koenig was fourth in the shot with a throw of 9.77 meters. St. Anthony’s Madilyn Haarmann was fifth in 9.54 meters.<\/p>\n

In the boys meet, Effingham’s Camdyn Burgholzer was fourth in the high jump at 1.45 meters.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Landon Finn took fifth place in the long jump with a leap of 6.29 meters.<\/p>\n

Teutopolis’ Isabella Niebrugge finished fifth in the 200 in 27.68 seconds. Alexis Bloemer was fifth for the Shoes in the triple jump at 9.01 meters.<\/p>\n

In the boys meet, T-town’s Karson Zerrusen took second in the 60 hurdles in 8.44 seconds. The Shoes’ Isaiah Lee was fourth in the pole vault at 3.35 meters.<\/p>\n

Cumberland’s Reid Carlen finished third in the 60 meters in 7.20 seconds. The Pirates’ Landon Finn was fifth in the long jump at 6.29 meters.<\/p>\n
