Here&#8217;s how the Class 1A area teams fared.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Class 1A North Clay Regional<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dieterich and Altamont picked up victories in the North Clay Regional while North Clay\/Clay City saw its season come to a close.<\/p>\n<p>In the opening contest, North Clay\/Clay City fell to Red Hill (Bridgeport), 44-33.<\/p>\n<p>North Clay ended the season with a 5-25 record.<\/p>\n<p>In the second game, Dieterich was a 40-30 winner over Wayne City.<\/p>\n<p>The Maroons moved into a 12-1 opening quarter lead and led 26-9 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>Dieterich had seven players score in the contest but only one in double figures. Addi Huber led the way with five field goals for 10 points.<\/p>\n<p>Leading in rebounds was Addison Miller with six while Huber, Lena Goebel and Callie Faller contributed five each. L. Goebel led in steals with eight. Miller and Faller had four assists apiece.<\/p>\n<p>In the third game of the regional, Altamont was a 39-25 winner over Ramsey Co-op.<\/p>\n<p>Altamont edged out to a 14-10 opening quarter. Ella Nelson connected on two three-pointers and a regular basket for eight while Avery Aldrich chipped in with four.<\/p>\n<p>The scoring slowed way down in the second quarter as the Indians had a 5-2 edge to lead 19-12 at halftime. Reagan Kuenstler led the way with three points for Altamont.<\/p>\n<p>In the third period, the Indians had a slight 8-5 edge to lead 27-17 going into the final quarter. Aldrich contributed five more.<\/p>\n<p>In the final quarter, Nelson and Quincy Niermann connected on a three-pointer each while Sophia Long hit two baskets and two free throws for six.<\/p>\n<p>Altamont had only one player in double figures. Nelson finished with four field goals, three of those from beyond the arc, for 11. Chloe King hit two regular baskets and two three-pointers for 10 points as Webber Township moved into a 17-8 opening quarter lead.<\/p>\n<p>CHBC was led by Lena Bowlin with five points.<\/p>\n<p>Webber led 32-16 at halftime as Edyn Knight scored five points. CHBC was led by Bowlin, again with four.<\/p>\n<p>CHBC never could get rolling. Webber had a 24-10 third quarter run. Lydia Hulbert took over the scoring duties with two regular baskets and two three-pointers for 10 while King added eight.<\/p>\n<p>King hit nine field goals, two from three-point range, and four of four at the line for 24 while Hulbert finished with eight field goals, three from beyond the arc, for 21.<\/p>\n<p>Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City had two players in double figures. Bowlin finished with 12 on four field goals, one a three-pointer and three of four at the line while Wakefield also tallied 12 points on five field goals and two free throws.<\/p>\n<p>In the second contest, another National Trail Conference team fell as Lawrenceville beat South Central, 64-46.<\/p>\n<p>Webber Township now faces Edwards County Albion at 6 p.m. today while Lawrenceville advances against Woodlawn at 7:30. Madi Frankie connected on six field goals and was two of two at the line for 14 points. Lola Hartke chipped in with 11 and Keeli McKay with 10.<\/p>\n<p>Neoga improves to 12-7 and will now play Mount Pulaski today at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Windsor\/Stewardson-Strasburg came on to take the next contest over Moweaqua Central A&amp;M, 52-47.<\/p>\n<p>The Hatchets moved into a slight 12-11 opening quarter as Kendra Hayes put in seven points and Claire VonBehrens added three.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes continued on with two more three-pointers and a regular basket in the second period for eight while Clarissa Johnson knocked down two three-pointers as the Hatchets led 30-28.<\/p>\n<p>Central A&amp;M had a 13-11 third period and tied the score at 41-41 heading into the final quarter.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s where Windsor\/Stew-Stras got back on the scoring run with an 11-6 quarter to pull out the victory. Hayes hit two field goals and a free throw for five while Cameron Carey put in a basket and two free throws.<\/p>\n<p>Hayes tallied 23 points with eight field goals, three from beyond the arc, and four of seven at the line.
