On March 1, HSHS Home Care staff will cram their cars with donated items before delivering them to Catholic Charities.&nbsp;The regional office serves&nbsp;Clark, Crawford, Cumberland, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper and Shelby counties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCram the Car inspires me every year when I see how our neighbors, friends and colleagues come together to care for the community,\u201d said Valerie Engelbart,&nbsp;Volunteer\/Bereavement Services Supervisor for HSHS Home Care. \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to deliver their generous donations. Let\u2019s see how many cars we can fill!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Suggested items for donations include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Boxed meals (Hamburger Helper, Rice-a-Roni)<\/li>\n<li>Pancake mix and syrup<\/li>\n<li>Jelly<\/li>\n<li>Canned fruit<\/li>\n<li>Pasta sauce<\/li>\n<li>Cereal<\/li>\n<li>Granola<\/li>\n<li>Sugar-free canned fruit<\/li>\n<li>Low-salt canned vegetables<\/li>\n<li>Large boxes of oatmeal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Soap<\/li>\n<li>Shampoo<\/li>\n<li>Feminine products<\/li>\n<li>Razors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Donors are urged to check expiration dates.<\/p>\n<p>Items or monetary contributions may be dropped off at any of these locations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HSHS Home Care office&nbsp;\u2013 Located in St. Anthony\u2019s Health Center at 900 W. Temple Ave., Building A, Suite 101, in Effingham.
