Performers will be backed by the Summit Band, featuring Jeremy Adam, Adam Burtch and Kyle Heynen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGet ready for an unforgettable night,\u201d said Marty Williamson, who has been producing the show since its inception. \u201cThe beauty of the Six String Summit is that we\u2019re able to draw from the immense pool of local talent to create a professional, one-of-a-kind show every single year. It\u2019s truly a testament to the talent and passion in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The show features a wide variety of musical styles, showcasing classic songs and exceptional vocals. Then, as always, the show\u2019s grand finale includes a jam with all six of the selected guitarists.<\/p>\n<p>Williamson added that this year\u2019s show includes a few surprises. \u201cWe have a few surprises this year. We have the addition of Summit Horns, including Blake Korte, Buddy Ferguson, Jeff Mondt, and Denis Lading, and the addition of a pedal steel guitar,\u201d said Williamson. \u201cPerhaps the biggest highlight is that we will be utilizing the EPC\u2019s new 18-foot by 32-foot multimedia wall to deliver a concert experience on par with national touring acts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Additional guests patrons can expect to see at this year\u2019s Summit include Nash Swisher, Steve Wills, Sonny Swisher, Sam Roan, Big John Spicer, Bob Turnage, Jon Fopay and Shane Burtch.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are currently on sale for $25 each and may be purchased at The EPC\u2019s Box Office, by calling 217-540-2788 or online at www.ticketmaster.com\/epc.
