The Bullpups ran out to a 19-8 opening quarter lead and never looked back. Noah Hoene led with 17 points while Ryan Wohltman added 12 and B. Niebrugge 11.<\/p>\n

The Bullpups ended regular season play with an 11-1 record.<\/p>\n

Dieterich came out a winner in both seventh- and eighth-grade action against Newton St. Thomas Thursday.<\/p>\n

The Roadrunners won the seventh-grade game 38-18, taking a 21-10 opening half lead.<\/p>\n

Brock Koester scored 10 to lead the winners. St. Thomas was led by Jace Bergbower with 10.<\/p>\n

In eighth-grade play, Dieterich edged St. Thomas, 28-26.<\/p>\n

St. Thomas led 6-4 after the opening quarter but Dieterich moved into a 13-10 halftime lead. St. Thomas then took a 16-15 lead going into the final quarter when Dieterich rallied for the 28-26 victory.<\/p>\n

Brody Niemerg led the winners with 17 points.<\/p>\n

St. Thomas was led by L. Gier with 16.<\/p>\n

T-town won the seventh-grade game, 59-19, ripping out to a 36-5 halftime lead.<\/p>\n

Bryson Meyer and Dylan Deters led in scoring with 10 points each.<\/p>\n

In the eighth-grade game, T-town won 61-47. Once again the Shoes had a big first half lead, 29-16.<\/p>\n

Mason Giles tallied 18 for the Shoes while Connor Althoff added 12.<\/p>\n

Stewardson-Strasburg was a winner over Windsor in both games Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

Stew-Stras claimed the seventh-grade matchup by a 52-33 count. Stew-Stras ripped out to a 32-15 halftime lead.<\/p>\n

Ashmore scored 20 for the winners while Worman added 10. Stew-Stras improved to 15-6.<\/p>\n

Windsor was led by Wilborn with 17.<\/p>\n

In the eighth-grade contest, Stew-Stras won 63-4, moving into a 40-4 halftime lead.<\/p>\n

Pruemer scored 17 for the winners who improved to 23-0 while Friese added 2.<\/p>\n

Storm and Voris led Windsor with two each.<\/p>\n

Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City fell in the seventh-grade game by a slight 21-20 count to Mulberry Grove Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

CHBC held a 13-11 halftime lead but Mulberry Grove pulled within 15-14 going into the final quarter then had a 7-5 run.<\/p>\n

CHBC was led by Tyce Kircher with eight points and Braxton Goeckner with seven.<\/p>\n

In eighth-grade action, CHBC won 41-34. Mulberry Grove led 24-23 at halftime but CHBC came back with an 18-10 second half run.<\/p>\n

Lane Reed scored 25 to lead the winners.<\/p>\n
