P. Phillips led with 16 while J. Jasper County ran out to a 13-2 opening quarter lead then had to fight off Effingham in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>Tristian Lingafelter led the winners with eight points. Cash Collins was the top rebounder and top passer while Tayden Sharrett was the top defender. Jasper County improved to 9-8.<\/p>\n<p>Effingham was led by Noah Hamilton with 16.<\/p>\n<p>In the eighth-grade game, Effingham won 43-21. The Mustangs held a 30-9 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>Calvin Beck scored 13 for the winners while Deek Thompson added nine and Jared Klingler eight.<\/p>\n<p>Jasper County was led by Jacob Guzman with 11 points. Trace Cornwell was the top rebounder, Alex Keller the top defender Jacob Guzman the top passer. Bryson Meyer scored 13 while Dylan Deters added 12.<\/p>\n<p>Stew-Stras led by Worman with nine as the team fell to 12-6.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras won 45-38.
