The district has seen the tax rate drop 22% since 2015, from 3.85 to 2.99.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the levy increase is due to the new solar farm in Clay County. The EAV in the school district is estimated to jump from $89 million to $125 million.<\/p>\n<p>Also Wednesday, the North Clay board approved Stephanie Hemphill as volunteer assistant high school cheer coach, and hired Malorie Craig as grade volleyball coach for the school year.
