Tessa Raddatz, who hadn&#8217;t scored in the opening half, nailed a three-pointer and a free throw. Maci Hayes chipped in with four points and the Hearts led 45-30.<\/p>\n<p>Martin scored six points in the final quarter and the Hearts hit six of eight total free throws.<\/p>\n<p>Finishing with 24 points, Martin led the way with 10 field goals and was four of six at the line. It was even scoring then in the rest of the lineup as Wolfe tallied nine, Hayes eight and Raddatz seven.<\/p>\n<p>EHS improved to 8-1 on the season<\/p>\n<p><strong>At Effingham<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>HIGHLAND (43)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ch. Dayana Haslett scored six points while Madi Miller added five.<\/p>\n<p>The lead went to 38-6 at halftime. Haslett hit two three-pointers and three regular baskets for 12. Presley Williams added six.<\/p>\n<p>BSE had a 10-7 third period as Miller added six points and finished out with a two-point final period.<\/p>\n<p>Haslett led the way with 21 points on nine field goals, two from beyond the arc. Claire Probst had three assists.<\/p>\n<p>Newton dropped to 4-3 and will be back in action Thursday against Robinson in a conference game.<\/p>\n<p>Edwards County edged Newton 17-16 in the junior varsity contest.
