Kelsey Niemerg put in six points in the opening quarter 12-7 run.<\/p>\n<p>Benton came back with an 11-8 second quarter. But the Shoes had a 12-10 third period edge.<\/p>\n<p>Anna Probst scored five points as she connected on a three-pointer while Jersey Gaddis also hit from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes then had an 11-6 final period, hitting seven of eight from the free throw line.<\/p>\n<p>Niemerg finished as the lone player in double figures with 12 on five field goals and two of two at the line. Dayana Haslett hit eight points in the second period while Madi Miller added six and Addie Sasse five.<\/p>\n<p>The lead stood at 45-25 going into the final quarter. In that final period, BSE had a 17-12 score to finish out with the 25-point victory.<\/p>\n<p>Haslett led the way with nine field goals, one a three-pointer and two of two at the line for 21 points while Ramsey added 14 and Miller 12.<\/p>\n<p>Dieterich was led by Addison Miller with 17 points on seven field goals that included three from beyond the arc.<\/p>\n<p>Dieterich claimed the junior varsity game, 22-7. Carr hit two more three-pointers and two regular baskets for 10 in the period.<\/p>\n<p>Carr continued on in the third period with two three-pointers and a regular basket for eight while Miller contributed six and Raegan Jones hit a three.<\/p>\n<p>The Pirates finished with three players in double figures. The Tigers then had a 29-24 second half.<\/p>\n<p>Newton was led by Grace Schumacher and Alani Bergbower with 15 points each. Schumacher hit three field goals and was nine of 12 at the line while Bergbower connected on six field goals, two from three-point range, and was one of one at the line.<\/p>\n<p>Claire Probst led in rebounds for the Eagles with six. Schumacher had three steals and two assists. Allie Hermann also had two assists.<\/p>\n<p>Newton drops to 4-2 on the season and will be back in action Monday at Edwards County (Albion).<\/p>\n<p>Paris won the junior varsity game 44-25.
