Mattoon St. John&#8217;s ran out to a 13-2 opening quarter lead and never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>Teddy Jansen led Sacred Heart with five points.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade play, Sacred Heart was a 38-35 winner. Mayo held a 14-10 halftime lead but Jasper County came back to tie the score and send the game into overtime where Mayo had a 5-2 run.<\/p>\n<p>Cash Collins led Jasper County with 15 points. Kamden Klier was the top rebounder and top defender while Tristian Lingafelter was the top passer.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade play, Paris Mayo ran out to a 25-8 halftime lead and went on for a 60-34 victory.<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Guzman scored 13 and Grant Frichtl 11 for the winners. Alex Keller was the top rebounder and top defender.
