A release from the bank indicates that in his new role, Jeff will help to realize the bank\u2019s goals for the Central Illinois city known as &#8220;The Crossroads of Opportunity.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A longtime Effingham resident and executive at numerous firms in the city\u2019s private and public sectors, Jeff served as Effingham\u2019s mayor from 2015 to 2019. He has also held leadership positions at several Midwest banks and board positions at more than a dozen local organizations.<\/p>\n<p>President and CEO Rick Parks shared a mix of enthusiasm and pragmatism about this exciting new hire. \u201cWe are delighted to have Jeff join our team!
