Bloemer and P. Ruholl scored 10 points each for the Shoes.<\/p>\n<p>T-town trailed 5-4 after the opening quarter but led 16-9 at halftime and never looked back.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade play, T-town was a 51-25 winner.<\/p>\n<p>T-town held a 23-11 halftime lead and had a 28-14 second half.<\/p>\n<p>G. Probst scored 15 for the Shoes while A. Meyer tallied 12. The eighth-graders improved to 11-1.<\/p>\n<p>Teutopolis then defeated Mahomet-Seymour 22-16 in seventh-grade play. The Shoes trailed 11-8 at halftime but had a 14-5 second half.<\/p>\n<p>Bloemer led the way with eight points as the team improved to 13-1.<\/p>\n<p>In the eighth-grade game, T-town ripped out to a 27-8 halftime lead and went on for a 39-19 victory.<\/p>\n<p>G. Probst and R. Ruholl 1<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monday, Oct. 27 Results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Effingham and Richland County, Olney split victories in junior high girls basketball competition Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs won the seventh-grade game, 23-19.<\/p>\n<p>Effingham took a 16-10 halftime lead then held Olney scoreless in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>Anna Gouchenour led the way for the Mustangs with 10 points as the team improved to 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade action, Olney claimed a 38-26 winner.<\/p>\n<p>Effingham took an 11-6 opening quarter lead and led 16-12 at halftime. But Olney came roaring back with a 26-7 second half.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs were led by Anna Gouchenouer with 10 points. Dieterich held a 24-2 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>The Roadrunners were led by Emery Bill with 12 points and Lydia Kreke with 10. Kreke led in rebounds with 11.
