Also approved was the sale of Lot 44 at Blue Point to Kevin Koney fpr $25,650, which is within 90% of the appraised value, and also awarded the bid for printing the 2026 boat licenses to low bidder Wortman Printing.<\/p>\n<p>Tom Ryan of the Parks and Rec Committee reported that they are in the process of getting funds for the beach expansion.<\/p>\n<p>It was shared that Dock-0-ween went well, with 12 docks decorated and &#8220;lots of boats.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members of the Effingham Water Authority have approved the tax levy ordinance for the coming year, but decided to delay until the November meeting the decisions on policies and procedures.
