Washington Savings Bank employees proudly show their belief in the United Way\u2019s mission by participating in the Employee Campaign program, hosting various fundraisers in the workplace and by attending United Way events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are truly honored to be recognized as the 2025 Lead Pacesetter Company by United Way of Effingham County,\u201d said David Doedtman, President and CEO of Washington Savings Bank. \u201cThis recognition reflects our team\u2019s commitment to supporting the United Way\u2019s mission and making a positive difference in the lives of people right here in our community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Being chosen as Lead Pacesetter Company by the United Way of Effingham County Board of Directors means the company goes above and beyond to support United Way of Effingham County by helping raise funds to reach the Campaign Goal and being good stewards of the organization\u2019s mission by helping those in need right in our own community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was no question that Washington Savings Bank was the perfect choice for the Pacesetter Company this year,\u201d said Emily Hille, Chief Professional Officer for United Way. \u201cThe company is always supporting us in any way they can by committing to top level sponsorships, providing opportunities for their employees to support the organization and being a public example of what United Way stands for as a whole.
