Effingham St. Anthony won both the junior high boy and girls cross country meets at Okaw Valley Tuesday.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony claimed the boys meet with 46 points followed by Teutopolis 72, Charleston 95, Mattoon 97, Shelbyville 149, Sigel St. Michael 163, Villa Grove 168, Windsor 206, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City 245, Mattoon St. John’s Lutheran 250, Sullivan 308 and Bement\/Cerro Gordo 333<\/p>\n

St. Anthony’s Max Schuette won the meet with a time of 11:51. Also scoring were Rhett Douthit eighth in 12:28, Braxton Schultz ninth in 12:29, Will Ludwig 13th in 12:48 and Grayson Bloemer 19th in 13:03.<\/p>\n

In the girls meet, St. Anthony won with 29 points followed by Charleston 36, Sigel St. Michael 71, Sullivan 116, Mattoon St. John’s 164, Shelbyville 177, Cowden-Herrick\/Beecher City 185 and Mattoon 200.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony’s Bella Schultz won with a time of 13:23. Also scoring were Sylvia Semple second in 13:28, Maeve Niebrugge third in 13:42, Nina Semple 11th in 14:17 and Morgan Kabbes 12th in 14:18.<\/p>\n
