Peyton O&#8217;Dell added a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n<p>Calvin Beck went 3.2 innings on the mound. He gave up two hits, three walks and struck out six in the win.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs then won the invitational by defeating Marion by an 8-5 score.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustangs had six hits and were aided by four Marion errors.<\/p>\n<p>Beck led the way with two doubles and an RBI. Martin had two singles and an RBI while O&#8217;Dell added a double. Thompson chipped in with two singles and Brody Nelson added a single and two RBI.<\/p>\n<p>Thompson went three innings on the mound for the win. Parker Phillips led with a single, home run and three RBI while Sam Vineyard contributed two singles, a double and three RBI, Reed Schumacher three singles and an RBI, Kolin Kiefer a double and an RBI, Eli Bales two singles and an RBI and Jaxon Having a single and an RBI. Brooks Niebrugge added an RBI.<\/p>\n<p>Schumacher went the distance, giving up one run on two hits, two walks while striking out five.<\/p>\n<p>Teutopolis split victories at the Greenville Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>The Wooden Shoes fell in the opener to Vandalia, 8-6 but almost came all the way back.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes had taken a 3-0 lead in the second inning but Vandalia went on a tear, scoring seven runs in the fourth and one in the fifth. T-town tallied a run in the bottom of the fifth to pull within 8-4. They rallied in the bottom of the seventh only to fall short.<\/p>\n<p>Maddux Pals had two singles while Bryson Meyer had a single and four RBI.<\/p>\n<p>Teutopolis pounded St. Boniface &amp; St. Mary&#8217;s by a 13-3 count.<\/p>\n<p>The Shoes finished with nine hits and Boniface had six errors and gave up six walks.<\/p>\n<p>T-town was led by Pals with two singles and three RBI, B. Witges with a two singles and an RBI. A. Borries and S. Donsbach with a single and an RBI each. Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The winners had five hits in the contest led by Noah Friese with two singles, Garrett Worman and Adam Pruemer with a single and an RBI each and Johnny Richter with two RBI.<\/p>\n<p>Two pitchers combined for a no-hitter. Pruemer tossed the victory. He went 3.67 innings, not giving up a run or hit, allowing three walks and striking out seven. Flora Floyd Henson then tied in the top of the second.<\/p>\n<p>In the bottom of the third, the Shoes broke up the tie when Pals doubled, scoring a run. Finley Witges followed with a single to extend the lead to 4-2.<\/p>\n<p>But here came Flora again, tying the game in the top of the fourth.<\/p>\n<p>The Wooden Shoes took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. Pals singled, scoring one run to give the Shoes a 5-4 lead.
