Paddock, age 76, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 9:29 AM- Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Services for Barbara will be held at 11:00 AM \u2013 Friday, August 29, 2025, with a visitation from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois. The obituary can be viewed and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara Jean was born on October 5, 1948, in Newton, Illinois, the daughter of Sam and Esther (Savoy) Bigard. She married Thomas W. Paddock on April 20, 1968, in Newton, Illinois.<br \/>\nBarbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She adored her family and her cats Sunny and \u201cB\u201d Beatrice. Barbara enjoyed spending time in her garden, a place she enjoyed both night and day. Barbara was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Newton, Illinois.<\/p>\n<p>Barbara is survived by: Husband of 57 years- Thomas W. Paddock of Newton, Illinois; Children- Kristi Marker (husband Jim) of Aiken, South Carolina and Aaron Paddock of Effingham, Illinois;<br \/>\nGrandchildren- Jacob Marker, Kassidy Martorano (husband Michael), Skyler Marker and Zachary Marker; Great-Grandson \u2013 Thomas Michael Martorano; Siblings- B.J.
