The work, which still needs okayed by the city&#8217;s attorney, will be completed in the summer of 2026. The school district will take care of the installation while the City will do the maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>The Council agreed to reduce the setback at Andrew&#8217;s Eats along Route 40 from 50 feet down to 15 feet as part of an expansion project at the restaurant. Also approved was an upgrade of the city&#8217;s meter reading system for just over $43,000, and the Council approved the demolition of the former Schultz&#8217;s Dairy Bar at 600 South Main. The contents of the building will be sold, followed by the demolition.
