ALTAMONT — Blaire Suckow tossed a three-hitter as Altamont blanked Mulberry Grove by a 7-0 count Thursday in junior high softball competition.<\/p>\n

Altamont moved into a 2-0 lead in the second inning and scored five runs over the next three innings behind six hits.<\/p>\n

Suckow went all seven innings, allowing no runs on three hits, one walk while striking out 12.<\/p>\n

Teegan Burrus led the way for Altamont with a single, triple and an RBI while Blakely McClellan added a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n

Mulberry Grove finished with three errors.<\/p>\n

Addison Icenogle had a double and drove in a run while Taleah Garcia added a single and two RBI. Ava Benefiel, Kambryn Mellendorf and Nora Wente finished with a single and an RBI each. Alivia Icenogle added an RBI.<\/p>\n
