Effingham Junior High School played host to Mount Zion and ended the game in the third inning by a 15-0 count Monday.<\/p>\n

Cloie Bailey tossed a no-hitter over the three innings. She walked two and struck out seven.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Mollie Niemerg had a double and drove in four runs while Bailey aided her own cause with a triple and an RBI. Mia Hartke had two singles and two RBI while Liv Lauritzen added two singles and an RBI. Kendyl Smith added a single and two RBI and Miley Wilson a single and an RBI. Madalyn Hoffman added an RBI.<\/p>\n

Effingham St. Anthony edged out to a 1-0 lead but that didn’t last long as Sigel St. Michael came back with a five-run second and went on to bounce the Bullpups by a 19-7 count in four innings Monday.<\/p>\n

The Sharpshooters had only four hits but St. Anthony finished with five errors. Monroe led the way with a triple and three RBI while Niebrugge had a double and three RBI. Niemerg and Gaddis finished with two RBI each.<\/p>\n

Niebrugge went the four innings, allowing seven runs on eight hits, two walks and striking out seven.<\/p>\n

St. Anthony was led by E. Bierman with a single, double and two RBI, I. McDonald with two singles and an RBI, L. Monical with a triple and an RBI and M. Hoke two singles and an RBI.<\/p>\n

Neoga edged out to a 1-0 first inning lead. Both teams tallied two runs in the second. ALAH tied the score at 3-3 in the fifth. But Neoga came back with two in the top of the sixth for the win.<\/p>\n

Neoga had only four hits compared to eight for ALAH. K. Mars led the way with a double and an RBI while N. Hartke and L. Haarman had an RBI each.<\/p>\n

L. Haarman went four innings, giving up two runs on five hits, six walks and striking out four for the victory. M. White came on to toss three innings, giving up one run on three hits, two walks and striking out one.<\/p>\n

Lydia Kreke had three singles and drove in two runs while Addison Icenogle and Kambryn Mellendorf added a single and double each. Icenogle finished with two RBI. Alivia Icenogle had two singles and three RBI and Emery Bill two singles and two RBI. Ava Benefiel and Mackenzie Roedl added a single and an RBI each and Nora Wente had an RBI.<\/p>\n

Lydia Kreke went the five innings, giving up two runs on seven hits, no walks and struck out four.<\/p>\n

South Central was led by Bella McDowell with a single, double and an RBI and Alexa Gile with a single and an RBI.<\/p>\n

CHBC moved into a 4-0 lead in the top of the second but North Clay came back with a 13-run bottom of the frame and that was the game.<\/p>\n

The winners had eight hits led by Finley Jones with a single, double and three RBI, Gabby Blair with a triple and three RBI, Emma Smith with a double, Finley Jones with two singles and an RBI and Leighna Mainer with a single and four RBI .<\/p>\n

CHBC had three hits led by M. Wakefield with a single and two RBI.<\/p>\n

At Louisville<\/strong><\/p>\n

Teutopolis stepped out to a 4-0 opening inning lead and went on to blank Okaw Valley, 13-0 in four innings Monday.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0 Wooden Shoes had nine hits led by S. Grunloh with a single, double and four RBI, L. Ruholl with two singles and two RBI and P. Ruholl with two singles.<\/p>\n

K. Hartke picked up the win on the mound, going three innings, allowing no runs on three hits, two walks while striking out five.<\/p>\n
