Bria Beals added a three-pointer, Sidney Donaldson scored five and Alyssa Martin had three on a field goal and a free throw.<\/p>\n<p>The lead stood at 42-4 at halftime. Hannah Thompson scored six points in the quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The Hearts finished out with a 27-6 second half.<\/p>\n<p>Two players finished in double figures as 11 players scored in the contest for the Hearts. Wolfe led with 11 on five field goals, one a three-pointer. Martin chipped in with 10 while Raddatz and Donaldson added nine each.<\/p>\n<p>Effingham improved to 19-5 on the season.<\/p>\n<p>In the junior varsity contest, Effingham was a 44-9 winner. Malia Wendling led with 14 points on seven field goals.<\/p>\n<p>Effingham is back in action tonight traveling to Teutopolis for the annual encounter between these two teams. Game time is 6:15 p.m. for the junior varsity with the varsity to follow. Dayana Haslett hit two regular baskets and a three-pointer for seven in the quarter while Addie Sasse, Peyton Barker and Madi Miller scored four each.<\/p>\n<p>Sasse connected on four baskets in the second quarter for nine points while Danika Ramsey went to work from beyond the arc with three, also for nine points. The Bombers led 45-16 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>BSE then had an 18-10 second half.<\/p>\n<p>Four players hit in double figures in even scoring for the winners. Ramsey led the way with four three-pointers, for 14 while Miller and Sasse added 13 each while D. Kady Tegeler chipped in with 12 and Callie Faller added 10.<\/p>\n<p>Niemerg also led in rebounds with 14. Addison Miller led in assists wiht three. Goebel 1).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>At Neoga<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Newton headed to Neoga for an evening of basketball and came home with a 79-47 non-conference victory Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Eagles held a 17-6 opening quarter lead and led 41-21 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>Karasyn Martin led the way with 20 points on nine field goals, one a three-pointer, and one of one at the line. Camryn Martin tallied 18 and Addy O&#8217;Dell 13.<\/p>\n<p>Claire Probst led the team in rebounds with 11 while C. Martin added 10. C. Martin also had six assists and five steals.<\/p>\n<p>Newton improved to 17-6 on the season and will celebrate Senior Night Monday when the Eagles play host to Pana. The junior varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Neoga was led by Bryn Richards with 18 points on six field goals and five of eight at the free throw line. She hit one three-pointer. Also in double figures was Atalie Osborn with 13.<\/p>\n<p>The Indians drop to 12-14 on the season and won&#8217;t be back in action until Monday when they travel to Altamont.<\/p>\n<p>In the junior varsity game, Newton was a 52-22 winner.
