The Sharpshooters went on for the 49-37 victory.<\/p>\n<p>Dasenbrock led the way for the winners with 14 points while Altigilbers added nine.<\/p>\n<p>Stew-Stras was led by Hille with 11 and Spannagel with eight. St. Anthony moved into a 12-5 opening quarter lead as B. Verdeyen scored four points and C. Tingley and C. Hoene hit a three-pointer each.<\/p>\n<p>St. Anthony led 22-11 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>But in the second half, here came Salem with a 16-6 third quarter run to pull within 30-27. B. Verdeyen scored five points and C. Bierman hit a three-pointer for St. Anthony&#8217;s only third quarter points.<\/p>\n<p>In the final period, Salem had a 14-13 edge but couldn&#8217;t make up that first half lead by the Bullpups.<\/p>\n<p>B. Verdeyen led the way with 18 points on seven field goals and four of six at the line.<\/p>\n<p>Staunton won the second game over Greenville, 32-25.<\/p>\n<p>St. Anthony and Staunton will meet today at 7 p.m. for the championship.<\/p>\n<p>Salem and Greenville square off for third place at 6. Dieterich held off a second half challenge by Neoga.<\/p>\n<p>Uthell and Goeckner led the winners with eight points each.<\/p>\n<p>Neoga was led by Matusas with 12 and Nohren with 11.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade action, Dieterich took a 40-30 victory.
