She married Milton Lee McMillan \u00a0on December 15, 1962 in Sparta, Il.<\/p>\n<p>Rita was raised in St. Louis and graduated from Normandy High School. She and her husband Milton and their family resided in Sparta, Illinois before her husband transferred \u00a0to Effingham to work at World Color, Inc. in 1974. \u00a0\u201cMimi Mac\u201d enjoyed doting on her grandkids and passing down her Irish heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Rita is survived by her son David Charles of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Leigh Anne (Jim) Hammer of Effingham; grandsons Andrew Cullen McMillan of Albuquerque NM, William Connor (wife Alexandra) McMillan of Salt Lake City, UT, Donovan Patrick Hammer of Wentzville, MO, \u00a0Liam Michael Hammer of Mayfield Heights, OH, and granddaughter Tierney Anne Hammer of Effingham, Il, and great grandson Maverick McMillan of Salt Lake City, UT. , sisters Geraldine Rose Cunningham, Kathleen Agnes Dutton, Martha Jane Johnson, brothers Thomas Gerard Barry \u00a0and John Lawrence Barry \u00a0along with many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by \u00a0her husband, her parents and brothers Andrew Francis Barry(III), James Timothy Barry, Patrick Joseph Barry, and Joseph Kevin Barry.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rita died on Saturday, June 14<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":12427,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[21],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-12418","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-obits"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
