New signals and circuitry will improve safety for all who use the S. Maple St. crossing,\u201d said\u00a0ICC Commissioner Michael T. Carrigan.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The total estimated cost of the signal design and construction is $461,989. ICC Staff recommend the Grade Crossing Protection Fund (GCPF) be used to pay 95 percent of the signal design and construction costs, in an amount not to exceed $438,892.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>CSX will pay the remainder of the signal design and installation costs, and the entire cost of future maintenance of the signals and circuitry.
