P. Phillips got St. Anthony off in the right direction with six of the Bullpups 10 points in the opening quarter. St. Anthony then moved ahead by a 25-9 tally at halftime. B. Schultz and E. Bales scored five points each, both hitting a three-pointer and a regular basket.<\/p>\n<p>Phillips finished withi 12 points to lead the Bullpups.<\/p>\n<p>In the eighth-grade contest, St. Anthony edged Taylorville, 42-40.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;The Bullpups held a 10-8 opening quarter lead but Taylorville came back to lead 24-20 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>St. Anthony then had a 12-6 third quarter run and held on for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Verdeyen scored 15, C. Hoene 12 and C. Effingham took a 34-13 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>Deek Thompson scored 19 for the winners while Calvin Beck added nine.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade action, Effingham was a 53-30 winner. T-town took a 12-9 opening half lead then scored only one point in the second half.<\/p>\n<p>Mason Giles tallied 11 for the winners.<\/p>\n<p>In eighth-grade action, T-town had a big scoring contest for a 54-13 win.<\/p>\n<p>T-town held a 12-3 opening quarter lead and led 33-7 at halftime.<\/p>\n<p>S. CHBC broke an 8-8 opening quarter tie with a 9-4 second quarter. But Altamont Lutheran came back to move ahead in the third quarter by a 26-25 count. CHBC then had a 12-7 final period run.<\/p>\n<p>Drake Thull scored 17 for the winners.<\/p>\n<p>Altamont Lutheran was led by Arend and Grasher with nine each.<\/p>\n<p>In the eighth-grade game, CHBC claimed a 40-37 win. Neoga held a 13-8 halftime lead.<\/p>\n<p>Baylor Matusas scored nine and Liam Kenworhty eight for the winners.<\/p>\n<p>Nadolny led Windsor with all 15 points.<\/p>\n<p>In the eighth-grade contest, Neoga won 42-38. Neoga held a 36-18 halftime lead.
