Altamont had a team champion at the Class 8-2A Girls State Track Meet during the weekend.<\/p>\n

The 4×200 relay team of Cali Ruffner, Emerson Kuenstler, Bailegh Starnes and Alyssa Ruholl won with a time of 1:53.50 minutes.<\/p>\n

Effingham St. Anthony’s 4×400 seventh-grade relay team finished third in 4:30.50. Team members were Maeve Niebrugge, Nina Semple, Caelyn Buehnerkemper and Sylvia Semple.<\/p>\n
