The Solemn Shadows was inspired by the medieval tradition of observing Tenebrae, a service of shadows designed for spiritual introspection.\u00a0 Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are sacred times for Christians to reflect on the events of Jesus\u2019 passion.\u00a0 The journey of tears is bittersweet, yet in its heart there is hope and the calm assurance that the cross and tomb are not the end.<\/p>\n
