NASCAR--

After a week off last weekend, there'll be both Nationwide action today and Sprint Cup action Sunday at Bristol...the Nationwide race, the Scotts Turf Builder 300, is set for 1pm today, and the Sprint Cup race, the Food City 500, is set for noon Sunday on your home for NASCAR, KJ Country 102.3

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS TENNIS--

Effingham and Teutopolis open their seasons at Troy Triad at 8:30am

HIGH SCHOOL BOYS TRACK--

Effingham, Teutopolis, Newton, Altamont and Neoga will compete in the Charleston Indoor Meet at Eastern Illinois University

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS TRACK--

Newton at the Gene Armer Invitational at the University of Illinois

Teutopolis and Altamont at the Charleston Indoor Meet at Eastern Illinois University

HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL--

Breese Mater Dei at St. Anthony as the Bulldogs open their season at Evergreen Hollow Park at 11am

St. Elmo will open its season competing with Harvard and Rockridge at Greenville at 10am

Beecher City at Clay City

Neoga at Central A&M

Newton at Pana

Olney at North Clay

Windsor at Martinsville

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL--

Stewardson-Strasburg plays in the quarterfinals of the Class 8-2A State Tournament at 11:15am at Mt. Pulaski High School.  If Stew-Stras wins, they'd play again at 1pm in the semifinals.  The finals are set for Tuesday night.

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL--

Newton and St. Elmo will compete at the Fairfield Invitational

Windsor at Okaw Valley
