Effingham St. Anthony hosted Charleston and fell in both seventh and eighth-grade volleyball action to the visitors Tuesday evening.

Charleston won the seventh-grade match 25-4, 26-24. In eighth-grade play, Charleston was a winner in two games, 25-16, 27-25.

At St. Peter

Effingham Sacred Heart nabbed both the seventh and eighth-grade victories over St. Peter Lutheran.

The Shamrocks won the seventh-grade match 25-10, 25-18 to remain unbeaten at 4-0. In eighth-grade play, Sacred Heart won 25-12, 25-16 to improve to 3-1.

St. Peter Lutheran won a fifth-sixth grade match 25-3, 25-15.

At Strasburg

Stewardson-Strasburg picked up wins over Altamont in both seventh and eighth-grade matches Tuesday.

The seventh-grade team won 25-16, 25-18 to improve to 2-0 in the National Trail Conference, 4-0 overall.

In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras lost the first set 25-21 but came back to win 25-23, 25-21. Stew-Stras is now 2-0 in the conference, 2-2 overall.

Altamont Lutheran and Dieterich split wins Tuesday evening. Dieterich claimed the seventh-grade contest in three games. Altamont Lutheran won the opener 25-18 but Dieterich came back with 25-23, 15-11 victories to improve to 2-2.

In eighth-grade play, Altamont Lutheran won 25-10, 25-21. Dieterich drops to 0-2.
