Stewardson-Strasburg claimed varsity and junior varsity volleyball victories over Ramsey in non-conference action Wednesday evening.

In the varsity match, Stew-Stras won 25-13, 25-7. Becca Schlechte led in aces with two, assists with 15 and digs with four. Kendall Knop had nine kills and four digs. Brittani Tabbert had four digs.

"Tonight we recognized our six seniors at our last home game," said Stew-Stras Coach Ronda Schlechte. "The team played well but the highlight was letting Lindsay serve the last three points of the game. She was so excited when I told her she was going in. She has been out a month and it meant a lot for her to get out there. I will miss my seniors a lot, of course, since five of them are starters."

Stew-Stras is now 16-8 on the season.

In the junior varsity match, Stew-Stras won 14-25, 25-19, 25-13 to improve to 8-6.
