S. Central, N. Clay Claim Volleyball Wins

South Central won the varsity contest, 25-20, 25-16 to improve to 7-4 on the season.

Brooklyn Garrett led in kills with seven and had digs with 14. Olivia Brauer had nine assists and four aces. Brauer, Chloe Smith and Brooke Cowger had one block each.

The Cougars won the junior varsity match, 26-24, 26-28, 15-6 and are 5-1. Patoka was a winner in freshman/sophomore action, 25-7, 25-8. South Central drops to 0-3-1.

North Clay (Louisville) came calling and won over Neoga, 26-24, 25-20.

Leading Neoga were Sydney Richards with nine kills and seven digs, Natalie O'Dell with nine assists and Haylee Campbell with five blocks.

At Carlyle

North Clay competed in the Carlyle Tournament and finished second.

The Cardinals defeated Marissa, 25-10, 25-16 and won over Patoka, 25-23, 25-23. North Clay then fell to Carlyle, 25-18, 25-15.

North Clay downed Flora, 25-14, 25-23 and defeated Lebanon, 25-16, 25-18.

North Clay is now 10-4 on the season.

At Robinson

Teutopolis competed in the Robinson Freshman/Sophomore Invitational during the weekend.

The Shoes won over Robinson, 25-23, 13-25, 15-13. T-town then lost to North Knox, 25-17, 25-18; St. Anthony, 25-17, 25-16 and Oblong, 27-25, 25-20.
