Effingham was a winner over Charleston in both seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball action Monday.

The Mustangs won the seventh-grade match, 25-23, 25-20.

In eighth-grade action, Effingham was a 25-22, 25-15 winner.

At Teutopolis

Teutopolis nabbed both victories over Robinson Nuttall Monday.

The Wooden Shoes improved to 11-2 in seventh-grade play with a 25-12, 25-22 victory.

In eighth-grade action, the Shoes won the opening set 31-29 but Robinson Nuttall came back with a 27-25 second set. T-town then won the match 25-17 and is now 9-4.

Jasper County was a winner in both seventh- and eighth-grade action against Olney Monday.

Jasper County downed Olney 25-11, 25-21 in seventh-grade action and improved to 7-5 on the season.

In the eighth-grade match, Jasper County won 25-13, 25-20 and is now 8-4.
