Teutopolis suffered losses in both seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball action Tuesday.

Taylorville picked up the seventh-grade victory, 28-26, 25-13.

In the eighth-grade match, Taylorville won over T-town, 25-6, 25-9.

T-town drops to 5-1 in both grades.

Seventh-Grade Match

At Newton

Jasper County split victories with Oblong Tuesday.

Jasper County won the seventh-grade match, 25-19, 25-22 to improve to 5-1.

In eighth-grade competition, Oblong claimed the victory, 25-21, 25-18. Jasper County fell to 4-2.

At Cowden

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City and South Central split victories Tuesday.

CHBC was a winner in the seventh-grade match, CHBC won the first set 25-14 but South Central came back with a 25-16 win. CHBC then won the match 25-22. South Central dropped to 3-3.

In eighth-grade play, South Central flipped things around with a victory in the first set, 26-24. CHBC won the second set 25-23 but South Central claimed the match 25-9 and is now 4-2.

Stewardson-Strasburg picked up two victories over Altamont in Tuesday action.

Stew-Stras won the seventh-grade match, 25-12, 25-10 to improve to 5-2.

In eighth-grade play, Stew-Stras beat Altamont 25-10, 25-22 and is now 3-4.
