At Teutopolis

Teutopolis picked up two victories over Casey-Westfield Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade match, 25-14, 25-20 and improved to 5-0.

In eighth-grade play, the Shoes were 25-18, 25-22 winners and also improved to 5-0.

Jasper County played host to Altamont and handed the visitors two losses.

In the seventh-grade match, Jasper County was a 25-15, 25-23 winner while the seventh-grade contest went to Jasper County, 25-15, 25-10. Both teams are now 4-1 on the season.

Effingham downed Robinson Nuttall twice Friday.

The Mustangs won the seventh-grade match, 25-13, 25-17.

In eighth-grade play, Effingham won the opener 25-7 before Robinson Nuttall came back with the second set, 25-10. Effingham then won the match, 25-11.
