Three Area Teams Competing In Volleyball Sectionals

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg will be opening play tonight in the Class 1A Tuscola Sectional.

The Hatchets will take on Farmer City Blue Ridge at 5:30 p.m.

The second match features Champaign St. Thomas More against Broadlands Heritage at 6:30. The winners then advance to the sectional championship match Wednesday at 6 p.m.

South Central and Cumberland are also playing tonight.

South Central will take on Norris City-Omaha-Enfield at 5:30 p.m. at the Class 1A Wayne City Sectional.

In the second match, Cumberland will square off against Woodlawn at 6:30.

The winners will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. for the sectional championship.

The winners of the Tuscola Sectional and Wayne City Sectional advance to the Casey-Westfield Super-sectional this Friday at a time to be announced. There could be two local teams competingn for the super-sectional.
