FARINA -- South Central picked up a high school volleyball victory over North Clay (Louisville) Wednesday evening.

The Cougars won in two sets, 25-12, 25-12 to improve to 4-2 in the National Trail Conference, 10-4 overall.

Halle Smith led the winners in kills with 11 while Olivia Brauer had 14 assists. Sierra Arnold and Brooklyn Garrett had three aces each. Garrett led in digs with eight. Emma Jenne had two blocks.

South Central also nabbed the junior varsity match, 25-23, 12-25, 15-14 and is now 9-1.
