Cumberland fell at the Class 8-3A State Volleyball Tournament Saturday.

Cumberland lost in two games to Eureka 25-20, 25-14. The Eureka Hornets improved their season record to 24-2. Cumberland ended the season with a 15-9 record.

Eureka started off fast in the first set with a very strong service game and just when it appeared as though the Hornets were going to have an easy first set victory, Cumberland made a nice comeback but simply could not get over the hump to take set one. The second was was all Eureka as their offense was simply too much for the smaller Raiders.
