Sacred Heart Wins Own Shamrock Showdown

Effingham Sacred Heart won its own Shamrock Volleyball Showdown in both seventh and eighth grade action during the weekend.

Sacred Heart finished with a 3-0 mark in the seventh-grade tournament followed by Mattoon St. John's 2-2, Sigel St. Michael 1-2 and Teutopolis 0-3.

In the eighth-grade tourney, Sacred Heart also finished 3-0 followed by St. John's 2-1, Sigel  St. Michael 1-2 and Teutopolis 0-3.
