Junior High School Volleyball -- Feb. 7

Teutopolis picked up two victories in junior high school volleyball competition Thursday.

The Wooden Shoes won the seventh-grade match, 26-24, 25-16 over Dieterich. T-town is now 10-3 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, T-town won 25-11, 25-12 and improved to 8-5.

T-town returns to action today playing host to Effingham St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m.

Edwards County (Albion) claimed two wins over Jasper County in action Thursday.

Edwards County won the seventh-grade match, 25-12, 25-8. Jasper County drops to 5-7 on the season.

In eighth-grade play, Edwards County won the opener 25-17 before Jasper County won 25-10. Edwards County then took the match 25-11. Jasper County drops to 5-7.
