The Wooden Shoes won 25-19, 26-24. Carly Michels had 10 kills. Savannah Grimes led in digs with 13. Kate Volk had 11 assists and Ciara Roepke had seven points.

"Another action-packed night of volleyball," said T-town Coach Tim Mills. "Two good teams playing fast and furious with great energy and intensity. Fortunately for us, we came out on top. But the Altamont girls played hard and they made us earn our points. Savannah and Kate did a great job of distributing the ball. Our offense was much more diverse tonight than last night at Newton.

"When you have two outside hitters as talented as Carly and Erica Michels, it's tempting to get them all the time. But as we found out last night, when you become predictable with your offense, you're easier to defend. Emma Deters and Julia Frye played a bigger role in our offense and that kept the Altamont blockers from focusing on our outsides."

T-town improved to 19-7 on the season.

Altamont was led by Jackman with nine kills and three blocks, Grimsley with nine digs and Kuhns with 10 assists and an ace. The Indians drop to 16-11.
