Effingham Sacred Heart and St. Elmo/Brownstown split junior high school volleyball victories Tuesday.

Sacred Heart won the seventh-grade match 25-17, 25-16. In eighth-grade action, St. Elmo/Brownstown claimed the victory. SEB lost the opener 25-19 but came back with 25-16, 25-11 scores.
