EHS Downs Paris in Apollo Conference Action

PARIS -- Effingham High School traveled to Paris for an Apollo Conference volleyball match and handed the Tigers a loss Tuesday.

The Hearts won the opener 25-21 then came back with a 25-11 count. Deedra Myers led the Hearts in digs with 10. Kallie Koester and Shanon Daugherty led in kills with seven each. Daugherty led in assists with 10 and aces with two.

The Hearts are 9-8 overall.

In the junior varsity match, Effingham won 25-8, 25-23 and is 9-8. Effingham also picked up a freshman contest 25-15, 23-25, 25-20 to improve to 8-1.
