Centralia Christ Our Rock captured the championship of the Effingham Freshman Volleyball Invitational Saturday.

Effingham won its opener over Dieterich 25-17, 25-23. Christ Our Rock picked up a victory over Altamont 25-14, 25-16.

In the third place match, Dieterich beat Altamont 25-16, 22-25, 27-25. Christ Our Rock then downed Effingham 17-25, 27-25, 25-17 to win the championship.

Effingham statistics were turned in but only first names were listed.
