FLORA -- Flora High School claimed its own volleyball invitational title Saturday while St. Elmo took second and Cisne was third.

Flora defeated Lawrenceville 25-14, 25-14; Cisne 25-23, 23-25, 15-10; St. Elmo, 25-16, 25-16; Dieterich 25-15, 25-4 and North Clay (Louisville) 25-14, 25-19.

St. Elmo defeated North Clay, 25-23, 25-13; Dieterich 25-16, 24-26, 15-9; Cisne, 25-22, 23-25, 15-9 and Lawrenceville 25-14, 25-17. Cisne defeated Lawrenceville, 25-9, 25-20; North Clay, 25-9, 25-20 and Dieterich, 25-14, 25-17.

Dieterich defeated North Clay, 22-25, 25-23, 15-11, Lawrenceville, 25-18, 25-18 and lost to Cisne, 25-14, 27-25. North Clay beat Lawrenceville, 25-18, 25-22.

Salem Freshman Tournament

Altamont competed in the Salem Freshman Tournament and suffered three losses Saturday.

Mount Vernon beat Altamont 25-19, 18-25, 15-10. Nashville won 25-11, 25-13 and Marion claimed a 25-14, 25-12 win.
