Area Teams Compete in Top Times Track Meet

Several Class A and Class AA area teams competed in the Illinois Top Times Boys and Girls Track Meets Friday at Bloomington.

Teutopolis had three competitors finish in the top five. Claire Bushur took second place in the shot with a throw of 42 feet, 6 inches.

Morgan Mette captured third place in the 400 in 1:01.83 minutes.

The 3200 relay team  of Jessica Runde, Kaitlyn Schumacher, Rebecca Habing and Mette captured fifth place in 10:09.70.

Altamont's Tim Moore placed second in the pole vault at 14 feet.

The highest finisher for Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was Dylan Webster who took sixth in the pole vault at 13-6.

Newton's 1600 relay team captured seventh in 4:20.04.

Effingham's highest finish was Kiyah Kuhlman eighth in the 60 hurdles in 9.72.

St. Anthony's Sarah Carr took ninth in the 800 in 2:27.89.

Cumberland's Jasmyn Dittamore was ninth in the 3200 in 12:24.67.

Claire Wilhour finished 17th in the 400 in 1:05.27.
