Effingham Second At Big Trojan Boys Track Invitational

CHARLESTON -- Effingham High School finished second in the Big Trojan Boys Track Invitational Wednesday.

Mattoon won the meet with 122 points followed by the Hearts with 98, Paris 82.5, Charleston 73, Robinson 69, Salem 65.5,  Mount Zion 64, Cumberland 58, Casey-Westfield 50 and Marshall 20.

Several Hearts got first place finishes in the meet. Terrance Hill took first in the 100 with a time of 11.14 seconds. Clayton Cramsey was a first place finisher in the 400 in 53.88. Kody Line finished first in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 2 inches.

Cumberland also had several first place finishes. The Pirates won the 400 relay in 45.13 and the 800 relay with a time of 1:33.73. Kort McClellan finished first in the 3200 with a time of 10:24.73.
