EHS Boys Fourth At Mattoon Invitational

MATTOON -- Effingham High School finished fourth at the Mattoon Boys Track Invitational Friday.

Mattoon won the event with 162 points followed by Decatur MacArthur 79.5, Charleston 56, Effingham 55, Decatur Eisenhower 53.5, Centralia 51, Urbana 50 and Champaign Central 48.

Effingham's highest finish in the meet was Clayton Cramsey taking second in the 400 with a time of 53.47 seconds.

The Hearts had five thirds. Terrance Hill took third in the high jump at 6 feet and was third in the long jump at 18-7. Alec Morrissey finished third in the pole vault at 12-0. Jacob Donaldson was third in the 800 in 2:04.36.

The Hearts' 1600 relay team of Jack Woelfer, Donaldson, Tyler Homann and Cramsey finished third in 3:44.72.
