EHS Boys Compete at Mattoon Friday

Effingham's boys track and field squad competed Friday at the Mattoon Invitational.

No team totals were available. 

Jacob Donaldson won the 800 meter run in 2:03.19. Alec Morrissey won the pole vault, going 12' 6". 

Also, Effingham's Kaleb Kihne, Tyler Homann, Jacob Donaldson and Sean Zerrusen finished second in the 4X800; Effingham's Tristen Rhodes, Drew Vasquez, Chris Burglund and Jared Stremming finished eighth in the 4X100; C.J. Schmidt finished fifth and Chris Schaefer finished ninth in the 3200; Jacob Bushue and Lucas Vasquez finished sixth and seventh in the 110 meter hurdles; Braden Hasty finished 12th in the 100; Tyler Homann finished seventh in the 800; Effingham's Tristen Rhodes, Tyler Marschewski, Chris Burglund and Jared Stremming finished fifth in the 4X200; Sean Zerrusen finished third and Kaleb Kihne finished ninth in the 400; Collin Hecht finished third and Jacob Bushue finished 12th in the 300 meter hurdles; C.J. Schmidt finished ninth in the 1600; Tristen Rhodes finished 10th and Jared Stremming finished 14th in the 200; Effingham's Kaleb Kihne, Sean Zerrusen, Collin Hecht and Jacob Donaldson finihshed third in the 4X400; Terrance Hill finished fourth and Kody Line finished eighth in the high jump; Drew Vasquez finished third in the pole vault; Terrance Hill finished ninth in the long jump; Jacob Miller finished eighth and Tristen Rhodes finished 13th in the triple jump; Ben Schuette finished eighth and Frank Schneiderjon finished 12th in the discus; and Frank Schneiderjon finished sixth and Braden Hasty finished 12th in the shot put.
